About

Lee Murray owner/instructor

Welcome, I am Lorlee "Lee" Murray and I am the owner and instructor of , ART on the Ranch LLC (A.O.T.R.) the art studio 4 kids.

After 21 years in the Marketing & Graphic Design field, I decided to change my career and concentrate on my love of creating art and sharing that love with others. So I went to work for a private art studio in Southern California where my husband was stationed, where I taught Fine Arts (Drawing - Pencil, Color Pencil, Charcoal and Pen & Ink, Painting - Watercolor, Acrylic & Oil) as well as Creative & Recycled Crafts to both children and adults for over 12 years.  I left the studio and went on to study Early Childhood Education with an Art Emphasis and worked with preschool students. When my husband retired from the Dept. of the Navy, we moved here to Prescott, where I opened my studio in 2015. I also have been teaching the Art Program at Skull Valley School, grades K-8 for the past 5.

I have been married for over 40 years to my high school sweetheart and we have three grown children and eight grand-children. I have had the pleasure of working and enjoying traveling with the Mission Team of “Camp-in-a-Box” through Child Hope International since 2008 teaching arts & crafts to the children of the Maison de Lumiere Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti. I have fund raised for my mission trips to Haiti by selling my photography and art reproduced on greeting cards and matted prints.

I am also a freelance photographer you might have seen my my photos shown at local galleries, on-line or when featured on TV's The Rehab Addict. My art and photography are also sold locally as prints and on greeting cards. I have been an active member of the Prescott Art Docents for over 5 years, teaching at Taylor Hicks and Chair and Instructor for Art in June at the Prescott Library, this year I am the President Elect.

I look forward to meeting you and designing the right class for your child.

ARTfully Yours,

Lorlee "Lee" Murray
